Hi,

i just tried to create a raid 1 out of two new 1GB external HD's i have connected. I wasn't sure if the drives needed to be formatted before creating the raid 1, but i did it anyways for some reason. My raid 1 progress bar was 75% when my computer crashed with one of the large power button warnings.

After restarting, i plugged my external hard drives back in via USB and immediately got the same crash.

Can anyone help me?

You my friend sound like you created a kernel panic. Black box with white text and power logo?

This is always a fun one.

First post your panic log. (Applications/Utilities/Console.app find the panic log in the list of logs)

Second can you plug in one drive at a time and re-format them (no RAID) without out the computer panicing?

Cheers
