Hi together,


i have some Trubel with my MacBook Pro 2010.it stoped working. now when I connect it with my magsafe I have just the green light on the cable. when I press the "on button" nothing happens. what can be the problem?? any idea or solution?
please help-.

Disconnect the battery, connect the charger, and don't touch the machine. It may not power up on its own after 30 seconds. If it doesn't, press and hold the power button down. Hopefully, one of these methods will but the MacBook.

As said, you should let it charge for a good 30 minutes or so. Was it behaving oddly before? Any history of water or spill damage? Any drops?
 
nothing... suddenly switched off. thats all. maybe smc defect?

1: disconnect battery over night
2: let over night charging
3: try smc reset in all ways
4: change battery


result: same .... nothing happens
 
Sounds like it is time to take it to a repair shop that can test individual components on the logic board such as the capacitors and resistors.

I'm not sure if MBP 2010 is worth any repair, there is very difficult to find parts for them, also repair can be more expensive than laptop is worth
