this seems quite quick, it said it would ship in 3 days when i ordered it, plus its custom with 4GB ram, my friends MBP took 2 weeks to deliver with the same spec near enough.

Didn't used to pre-make their three most common CTO configurations in small quantities to cut down on shipping time?
I think one was upgraded ram, the other was upgraded HD, and then the HD + RAM config. Maybe I'm just making this up, but I seem to remember seeing something like that.
