Shopping around Amazon I see two MacBook Pros that seem almost identical except for the upgraded graphics. The one with the 460 is about $200 cheaper. I also found where people are claiming that they are identical except the 560 may have some kinks worked out and is clocked a little faster.

They both claim 2.9 ghz i7s, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSDs, 4GB GDDR5 on the graphics card, etc.

Is there some other important feature difference between the 2 laptops I'm missing? Is this a bigger difference than it seems at face value? I could use $200 extra bucks in my pocket!

To answer my own question, I now see one more difference in advertised specs. On the Radeon 460 machine the 2.9 ghz i7 supposedly only boosts up to 3.8 instead of 3.9. I suppose that would make it an i7 6920HQ vs an i7 7820HQ and 6th gen vs 7th gen. Overall the processor specs seem quite similar though.

Yeah its skylake vs kabylake and apart from some hardware accekleration for 4K etc and some efficiency increases there is little difference.
