This has only happened twice ever. It only happens when I keep the macbook on for a week or so. (Just put it to sleep instead of shutting it down.) Both incidents were about a month apart. Using it like normal and it would randomly switch off. It's like half the backlights on the bottom are off. Leaving this weird streaky pattern. As soon as I restart it's back to normal. Is this a software issue? Hardware issue? Should I be worried? (P.S. I have applecare.)
