Whenever my friend reboots his computer, there is usually no display (9/10 times). It does power on though, because the caps lock key lights up when pressed. The times it does work, a small bar is shown under the apple logo, then it powers off. any suggestions on how to fix this issue? (it's kinda like a black screen of death issue or something)

any suggestions on how to get the dumb mac store people to listen. they keep cutting corners. or is it not covered under the service plan?

they try to reinstall software, instead of going to the actual source of the problem.

he said he has been in the store about 5 times. not sure exactly what they did, but i'm sure they tested a lot of stuff. how can he run that program if it won't even log in?
