Macbook Pro display Won't turn on

I had a problem with my screen on my older MBP, everything worked fine, just not the screen. I took it to the store and they said the problem was in the cable that's attached to the screen on the inside so they had to replace the whole screen which would have cost me around £700(if I remember correctly) but it was covered by the protection plan. Then a few months after it happened again, and once again I got a new screen...
