I have a 13 inch mid 2010 macbook pro which I bought broken in hopes of fixing it, but Im having trouble finding ways to boot this thing. I have swapped out the hard drives and every hard drive I've tried it gives me the same lock up issue. It won't boot from my USB parition either (thought it was the cable, so I created a Mountain Lion partition). It doesn't want to boot from the installer either. I am not sure if it is the firmware, but I essentially cannot get this thing up and running. I have reset the PRAM and the NVRAM. I have even included a video.

Your advice and help will be greatly appreciated.
