Hello:)
Need some help on my 2011 macbook pro.Im a newbie here on this site.having problem while replacing a battery on my laptop.I try to pull the battery plug socket with a metal screw driver then i saw a small spark near the terminal.try to turn back on but the laptop not responding even a green light on indicator is not working. pls pls pls help me.I know a little knowledge on electronics ,I can measure voltages with my mulltimeter.just let me know step by step where to check.

Thanks Ann

Try this: disconnect the battery from there logic board, connect the magsafe charger, and don't touch the machine. If it turns on, that's a good sign and it could just need a new battery. If it doesn't turn on, there is probably a blown component on the board.

Can you see any burn marks or damaged components on either side of the logic board?

Anybody knows where to get a cheaper logic board? each time I browse i'll get more than 200 buck for the board and I dont know someone who repair it for a lower cost. live's in Minnesota.anybody??????
