This update is recommended for MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, late 2013) models.

Still needs an update..

UI Lag is a either a software problem and needs a OS update or the resolution of the screen is just too high for the system to be able to push enough pixels and thus the UI lags.

Freezes are a hardware driver problem and thus need a EFI firmware update. This is what just was released.
