    hey

I got a Macbook pro 2.2 GHz, and wanted to expand my HD by adding an external hard drive

so I got FreeAgent Pro (320GH) , and plugged it using USB and it worked fine

but now I want to plug it using eSATA, so I bought an express card (eSATA II) and an eSATA cable

i plugged everything together and powered up but i can't find the hard disk on my desktop on the finder or in the disk utility!!!

As for the PCI express card am not sure what make is it, but it came with a cd that contain setup files for windows the name of the folder is (JMB363 Driver)

    any help please

    thanks

I also have an expresscard eSata that will not work in leopard. I see the icon in the menu bar appears when I insert the card, but no luck when plugging drives into it... Apparently it will work fine in Tiger, I haven't tried it yet. Mine is an Apiotek with a Silicon Image 3132 chipset.

It's apparently well known that they do not work in Leopard :( I wonder if anyone has theirs working?
