MacBook Pro freezes after typing in login

Hey everyone, my Mac freezes and won't load my profile after I type in my password. It just stops loading 3/4 of the way through. Can anyone please help

Have you done a PRAM or NVRAM SMC reset?
Try that first.

Also, see if you can startup in "safe mode" (press and hold "shift key" during boot).
