Does anyone have any input on which hard case i should purchase. I have read that some damage the MBP. I am lost on which one to purchase that won't damage my mac. Please give me some input if you have one already.

I had a Speck case for ~3 weeks. It did a good job protecting my precious MBP, But I got tired of the "cheap plastic" look it gave to my MBP. I prefer carrying my notebook in a good bag. If you like the plastic look, then the Speck case does a good job protecting the notebook.

returned it today for a shoulder bag, much nicer.
incase is going to be releasing a hard shell if you really want one. looks a lot nicer then the speck.

wow definitely going to ditch the speck for that one...
i dont think that speck makes it look cheep if you get the clear one..
