Ive recently had my hard disk cable die on me and im running my macbook of a usb flash disk now. Im using a mid-2010 13" Macbook Pro that uses an Apple Part #: 922-9062 hard disk cable.
The problem I have now is that by mistake, I've ordered Apple Part #: 922-9771 instead that is meant for the 2011 model. My question is, would the part still be compatible or does the problem lie possibly with a different connector that connects it to the logic board?
