Macbook Pro HDD and Ram Upgrade

Hi,
I just purchased MBP ram from crucial.com and Seagate Momentus XT 500gb from amazon. I want to do the upgrade myself to my recently(2 weeks) purchased mbp. Will it void my warranty or not?
According to this, the warrant doesn't get void http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=13946
Please advice as I'm about to do the upgrade.

RAM and HDD are both user replaceable, so will defiantly NOT void warranty, removing other items (battery) will on the other hand void it.

You should be good to go. Great choices by the way, I love my Crucial RAM it's been great to me and I heard a lot of great things about the HD.

Yes, it is definitely going to turn my MBP into a powerhouse. Any suggestions for preserving battery life? Discharge daily or not?

Use your battery rather than leaving it plugged in all the time.
Be sure to calibrate regularly too.
