is it possible to upgrade the macbook pro 2.26 ghz harddrive/hdds?
does the best buy and apple stores do it?

i looked on the apple website and they don't mention anything about upgrade options 🙁

Yes. Apple store can do it for you but they charge for that. You can also do that yourself, it's not that hard. See installation video
