MacBook Pro help! Please!

Hey everyone,

So I just bought a MacBook Pro about 3 months ago. Brand new. I have a huge problem with the memory.

My HD capacity is: 319.21 GB and I've used: 319.2 GB.....it says I only have 57 KB of memory left.

My laptop keeps telling me that I need to delete things. Problem is, there is no way that I could have used that much memory at all. No effin way possible.

Could anyone help me?!?! Please!

First, try restarting your Mac to see if space frees up. Then use DiskInventory X (pre-Lion), OmniDiskSweeper, JDisk Report or GrandPerspective to see how space is being used on your drive.

Also, you may have better success in attracting responses to your thread, and you'll make your thread easier to find for those searching for the same answers, if you follow this tip.

follow GGJs advice.

It might be time machine backups that get stored on disc. Other people here have reported problems with this.
