MacBook Pro horrible screen response time

...you're not even on a laptop recording that. You can see the reflection that you're on a desktop. Stop trolling.
So you see the guy using a mouse and think it is a desktop? Can we not connect mice to a MBP? The guy posting it on Twitter appears to be legit.
That being said, it could be bad panel and not that bad on others. We won't know until more of these devices get in the wild.
Damn. People kept saying this about the 2019 16” but I thought they were whining over nothing. This looks worse

True. He is being followed by Anandtech and a bunch of other editors from other publications. Looks legit to me, but good to be cautious anyway.
I had 2 of those and never had any complaints.
**** me sideways if they are like the 16" 2019 with the response time. That is one reason I want to switch to these new ones and sell the old. Replaced my 16" two times thinking there was something wrong with the screen.
Refresh rate might not fix this. Image retention is more about the panels ability to switch from dark to light and back again quickly per pixel. That is separate from being able to process and display at 120Hz. having said that I had a 16", thought it was a little blurry when dragging white text about on a black background but soon got used to it.
Screen is the same as the iPad Pro 12,9 M1 2021 and that screen has slow response times, shouldn’t surprise anyone..

That video was posted by Andrei, from Anandtech - who have a reputation for their very thorough and in-depth reviews.
Check any MacBook Pro review from notebookcheck, slow response times in MacBooks has been quite the norm for a long time.
A dark background with white text is a very common environment for software developers. It’s a large bummer if it trails badly when scrolling through.
Will have to check in person tomorrow.
I’m a developer myself but I’ve gotten into the habit of going with black on white in VS Code and Terminal. Are you checking in a store or you’re expecting delivery?
