Just got a MBP and I'm wondering if there's a way to make F9 and F10 so that I don't have to hit "FN + F9" or "FN + F10" to operate the expose functions. Default, F9/F10 are used for keyboard brightness when it's dark. I think these options should've been reversed...

Help?

Thanks.

I think there is a checkbox in the keyboard settings. Something like "use Fn for software functions" or something. Reverse it's current setting (uncheck if checked, check if unchecked) and you should be all set

you can reverse F1-F12 functions by going to sys pref > keyboard and mouse > keyboard > check "use F1-F12 keys to control software features"

on the other hand, i use active screen corners (sys pref > dashboard & expose) to control expose and such, while leaving the F1-F12 keys to control brightness, vol, etc.
