I'm a club dj and theres times that I use more then one hard-drive at a time and sometimes connect a external monitor to view the videos being played. I see I have a thunderbolt input but if I use that input I cant connect a monitor.

I need to be able to connect my dj board via usb and also two usb hard-drives and also a external monitor. Heres a image of what I have. I was thinking maybe theres something I can do or something that I haven't try. My understanding is that I cant use the firewire 800 for harddrives.

you can buy a USB splitter:

or a USB hub

Or if you don't want splitter/hub you can buy a FireWire 800 drive or enclosure on eBay maybe

Connect the DJ board to one USB port. Connect the USB hard drives to the other USB port with a hub. Connect the display to the Thunderbolt/Mini DisplayPort.
