Hi I am currently using a 2003 G4 iMac (OSX 10.9.9, 1 GHz Proc. 1 Gb DDR SDRAM)

I recently purchased, online, 2 Mac OS X (10.4.6) install Discs (Tiger), AHT version 3A107, Disc version 1.3, which originally came with MacBook Pro.
These discs are seperate from the rest of the hardware bundle.

I would like to know if this a full version of Tiger and will I be able to install this system on my G4?

All I want to do, really, is upgrade from my old Panther op system to Tiger.

Would appreciate any advice.......thanks.

If the discs are grey, then they can only be used on the computer they were sold with, sorry. I would ask for your money back if they aren't the purple retail copy discs.

System disks (i.e. the restore disks supplied with a mac) can only be used on identical models as the computer from which they came.

So, no, those MacBook Pro system disks will not be compatible with your iMac. Sorry.
