After reading the 1000th post saying that, what makes you guys think that's the case?

If anything the launch of the Macbook Pro on that day will detract all the attention that is to be focused on the iPhone SDK!

To be honest, I don't think enough of the public knows/cares what SDK is to warrant a whole media event. I know iPhone sales are starting to lag, but really, a media event just for a software development kit? BORING!

would i be correct in saying that as of right now it is only a rumor of their being an event at the end of the month?

so as far as we know their isn't even a real event at the end of the month?

call me a troll, whatever. threads with this title to content ratio should be removed immediately. what a useless waste of time.

i've been warned and threatened to be banned! :( I'm a good boy now :)

Couldn't be any worse than it was in the past. I remember for a time the mods were SUPER anal about comments. They would delete around 50% of comments in threads just for funsies. It wasn't rare to return to a thread you posted in only to have your post disappear (even if it was a legit question or something).

Anyway, here's to a new MBP on the 26th....you know, since we haven't already waited long enough. Wait, quick question, is Dell selling Penyrn (however it's spelled) yet?

Well I for one am looking forward to my imaginary newly updated MBP at this imaginary event at the end of the month.

I had a post deleted the other day. Doesn't surprise me though. It wasn't at all related to the OP. :)

As for Dell, yes. They are selling Penryn now. They've got them in their XPS laptop line across the board I think. I do know, however, that they're listing ship dates as the 20th of February. (I only know because my fiancee is looking at their new (product)RED XPS 1330.)
