Hello! I am fixing a friends computer whose Macbook is printing double sided. I personally have a Macbook, and when I right click on my printer and go to the Driver tab under settings, it gives me an option to print double sided or single sided. When I go to do this on my friends computer, this option is not there. They told me that it does it when it prints from Microsoft Word, which believes me to think that it is an issue with a setting in Microsoft Word. How would I go as bout fixing this issue and getting it to print single sided again?
    Thank you in advance!

You make duplex printing sound like a problem. In fact, duplex printing is a wonderful feature.

The ability to print double-sided has almost nothing specifically to do with Microsoft Word. Your friend can print double-sided because he has a duplex printer. Some simplex printer print drivers support double-sided printing by printing every other page--say all the odd-numbered pages. The driver then prompts the user to flip the stack of printed pages. The printer then prints all the pages that were not printed during the first pass.
