Macbook Pro is running a bit slow

I have one of the newer Penryn Macbook Pros, got it when it first came out. It's the base model so nothing special. Recently, it's feeling like it's running a bit... sluggish, slow kinda? Was wondering if there's any way that I could do regular clean ups and check ups. It's my baby :'(

Note: I don't have that much running either. The only thing I really have an excess of, are Widgets. Otherwise, it's usually Firefox, Mail, and maybe a Word or Preview up.

Try to clean up your caches with Onyx. I use that application once a month to clear all my caches and stuff like that. Its really easy to use. Try it out.

I have the same thing as you and mine is really zippy.
