So my Macbook Pro, which I've had for about a year, is experiencing some issues. When I open it up and try to use it the computer any programs that I try to use are generally slow . If I keep trying to use to google chrome it will start working but will often give me the rainbow wheel and freeze forcing me to do a hard shut down. If I open the computer and leave it be for a few minutes it will usually work fine. I've tried scanning for viruses using avast! but I haven't found anything. I've also tried delaying standby mode but that doesn't seem to work either. Any help and/or advice would be appreciated.

Best advice is to get rid of Chrome.

I tried different browsers , but non were as good as Safari ;)

The last really great Mac OS browser I used was IE for OS-9 !!!!

Later :)

I have a MM 4.1 & MBP-R 2012 , both only run Safari , and both can sleep and wake up just fine.
