macbook pro keeps restarting when downloading torrents

hi, can anyone help me, my macbook pro (purchased Dec 2012) keeps crashing & restarting whenever i try to download torrents. I previously used utorrent and then when the problem started, i deleted the app and installed vuze. I still have the same problem despite changing torrent programs. can anyone help me please!! 🙁
