macbook pro keyboard opposite sorta?

on macbook pro whenever i have numlock on numlock is actually off and the keyboard is normal but when i have it off it is actually on and whn i type all the numbers come up and stuff this also happens with caps lock

EDIT: i just had to restart my computer and now it works fine
