I've been having issues with my 2018 MBP keyboard. The "n" key is really stuck and compressed air isn't helping. I want to get it repaired, but I rely on this computer and don't want to send it in without knowing how long the repair process typically takes. For those that have done the keyboard repair, what was the turnaround time?

I would figure on 5-10 days.
But if the key's stuck, there really isn't any other choice, unless you want to "live with it"...

When I've had a depot repair done, it's usually been 3 days. Part supply or Hurricane Katrina could make it longer. You should be able to check with Apple support to get an estimate whether they are seeing delays.

I keep hoping that the 4th or 5th or 6th time I use compressed air, it will fix the problem. As soon as they come out with the new MBP 13/14" with a scissor keyboard, I'm all over that. If I can just make it until then...

The last one we did, in-store, took 3 days (dropped off Friday, picked up Monday). If we had done it over a weekday, maybe faster.

We've done a number of them from our office. Unfortunately, the last one came back worse with the laptop shutting off instantly all the time, as if it was a desktop and you tripped over the power cord. It's now back in service, this time at a depot being "repaired."

Since the top case replacement also includes a new battery, obviously this one is malfunctioning or maybe they didn't connect it back properly to the logic board.

Have they typically replaced the top case and whole keyboard, or did they sometimes fix the key? Did the other ones work better and stay working after they were repaired?

I'm about an hour from an Apple Store. I am thinking of mailing it in using FedEx Overnight or something.

Always the entire top case, one time I was given the option of case or key, but why go for key when you get a whole new top case, new low cycle battery, etc?

Mine finished around 3-4 calendar days. Not too bad given the amount of stuff they're replacing.
