Hey guys so I'm a bit curious about this replacement programme. It says that Apple would replace the keyboard and any other repairs would attract a cost.. to my knowledge if you're replacing the keyboard; the trackpad as well as the battery would have to be replaced as well so do I pay for that? I don't have AppleCare and my warranty expires in November

I think the best thing is to ask Apple, especially if you're having a key problem. I can see the confusion. The keyboard and battery are all part of a "single" unit - the top case. I had my 2013 MBP repaired last fall, and they replaced the top case among other things. As far as I can tell, the battery did not get replaced - cycle count is still in low hundreds and it has the life/capacity it had before it went in.
