Hey I am thinking of selling my Macbook pro 2018 and getting a late 2011. I was wondering would it get the job done for browsing and basic day to day stuff? I am afraid I wont be able to use the latest macOS and would need to install some app or something and be able to do so. What are your thoughts. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/124292704107

If it’s a 15 it’s a ticking time bomb...

but a 13 is still pretty usable. Has an i5 so it’s much quicker than the old C2D models. The minimum usable machine if you have an SSD, upgrading to 8 or 16GB helps too.

the only bad thing would be the battery is probably close to dead by now and it’s only USB 2.0.

run High Sierra or Mavericks on it using the dosdude1 patcher

So I would be fine Netflix, browsing and school stuff with it? Would I be able to install Office 360?
