Did some detective work. For those of us who got shipping notifications yesterday, I believe our goods are scheduled to fly out on CZ 453. Arrives in AMS Thursday morning, departs in around 8 hrs from Shanghai. While the flight arrives at 6am, it won't arrive to DHL until 6pm Thursday. From there it will fly out to Leipzig most likely on Friday and make its way from there. I've an expected delivery of the 28th (Monday) to Berlin, which would match up to these estimates pretty well.

Will be a bunch of waybills, 7CP2893 will give a good enough estimation. Punch that into https://dhli.dhl.com/dhli-client/publicTracking to track the cargo flight details.

So basically, you can use your regular DHL tracking number from ~6pm Thursday!

Thanks a lot :) Can you ellaborate how you found out?

Where in Germany? Your goods will probably going to end up on CZ453, collected by DHL on Friday ~6PM (scheduled cargo flight 24hrs after mine). You'll get more tracking updates once its in DHL's hands in AMS.

Well same dates for me and I am living in Herne (NRW). Really frustrating it takes DHL so long to get the cargo on a plane to Amsterdam.

Some people who were 2-3 week window deliveries managed to get their Housebill references from Apple customer support and posted them earlier. I assumed the references are chronologically ordered so I just started searching all the numbers that matched a "Shipment notification received" of Tues 22nd (that's what my DHL tracking says). You can easily find all the waybills that will correspond to a flight path (7CP seems to denote the flight of PVG-AMS). That said, some people were booked on Cargolux flights, which meant an extra flight to LUX, them AMS (probably the ones that are receiving them today).

It was kind of interesting just punching in random shipping container references as well, and just seeing DHL sending 2000kg of goods to India and other locations.

Fingers crossed for a quick recovery in AMS. I'd love a Saturday delivery but I don't believe Apple paid for it with DHL this time (unlike iPhone launches), so I suppose Monday it is!

Mine is finally shown as Dispatched on the 23rd Nov (today).
Estimated delivery by Apple: 30th Nov.
Sent via DHL Express, but I can't track it. So I've had a chat with Apple, and they basically told me to wait 48h... and then check DHL status again.

It has to go from Apple production factory to ADI warehouse then picked up by DHL to airport to export (has to wait for carriage manifest to determine which scheduled cargo flight it will go out on), then to plane to AMS to customs to DHL AMS. Path from here may diverge based on recipient country, but AMS to Leipzig most common. The shipment notification is created before DHL has even picked it up from Apple Distribution International's warehouses so it's not really anything "slow", most things move within 24hrs to the next step (including the longhaul flight).

You can go into the store and buy 13" in Europe now. But no 15" yet :(

My UPS macbook pro is out for delivery , here in NL.
It went from Cologne to Eindhoven overnight and is now in the UPS van.
What this has shown me is that DHL is the faster service for sure. UPS let the shipment stay in Shanghai for almost 3 days and in Cologne for more than 2 days. Very bad.

Mine was dispatched on Friday, DHL tracker said Shipment Information Received ever since. Do you think there will be a flight coming in today like there has been the last two days?

UK peeps who have recieved thier's - how long did you wait from 'with delivery courier' to out for delivery?

"With Delivery Courier" and "Out for Delivery" are the same thing, just with different couriers. DHL uses "With Delivery Courier" and UPS uses "Out for Delivery" — if you have either of those, your package is rattling around in the back of a van on its way to you.

Just got my BTO 15" rMBP delivered! It's amazing! Feels like early Christmas! My time waiting is over. Good luck to all of you who haven't gotten it yet. Hope you get it soon!
Mine is Out for Delivery now! It did a strange route, though! Leipzig — Brussels — Bergamo — Alessandria!

In 48hrs or so the air cargo flight will have arrive and deliver to DHL AMS. Your tracking number will start updating from there. If you're interested in tracking the potential cargo flight, see my previous posts.

It's probably been asked and answered, but looking through 195 pages - I'd rather avoid that. So: how long is the wait between Confirmation of Shipping email and actual delivery? I got an email this morning telling me my MBP has shipped, but with a delivery date of Nov. 29 - That seems awfully long... Any chance I'll get it sooner?

Hi guys I just cancelled my order due for delivery 7 Dec 13 Dec and placed a new order for pickup on store
Today I can get my new toys I don't have to wait to long
Same here! My new macbook is only 40 minutes away!! :)

Does the tracking on Apple's site say anything? You might be in a delayed shipment, there are scheduled flights quite often though. If you don't see any updates by this evening, then I'm not sure. If you could get your Housebill from Apple that will help you know more (I'm not sure DHL will give it to you)
