In a pickle here, Ordered the 13" TB 512gb with max ram and processor. Delivery window is 7-13 Dec. However apple stores in my city now have the best stock 13" available today. Should I ditch my BTO order?

If you call them up, you will probably find that they do have the 13/3.3/16/512 in stock as well. I got one from Covent Garden yesterday.

Sorry to interrupt your time with your lovely machines but does anyone know if any 2.9GHz/2TB/460 configurations have been delivered in Europe (and especially the UK) yet?

Yes some people got them delivered in the first batch on Tuesday.

Thanks Brookzy, my apple dealer says non of that configuration have arrived in Europe and the one I ordered from him during the keynote will not be here until next week.... not happy! :(

Well 5Y534 is currently over Germany and inching closer to Amsterdam.

I was tracking it last night and saw it descend and then arrive at Baku, woke up this morning just as it was entering Czech airspace.

Twiddles thumbs.

All Models now in Germany, and im still waiting for a Pre Order

Mine is dispatched, delivery 30th

Mine, too. Wondering something, though: since according to iStockNow, Berlin (where I live) has my 15" model in stock and today is the 150$(!) gift card Black Friday deal, would it not make more sense to buy one in store, then simply deny accepting the package when it arrives on Wednesday? That is the same as getting a refund, right?

Anyone ever do that before? Does that work as simply as it sounds? If so, it's off to the Apple Store, for me...

For returns, at least in the UK, you get 14 days to for returns, so if you don't catch them and they happen to leave it outside your door (DHL does this sometimes if you don't answer the door), you can arrange a return using their customer support.

Note: I checked the Black Friday sales online and it seems it's just for last year's models. Eg. iPhone6s and MacBook Pro 2015.

pretty livid about this whole thing, originally ordered with delivery of 3 - 9th December. No movement.

Coincidentally went into my local apple store (Brighton, UK). they had my EXACT configuration in stock, 13" 512gb and 16gb ram.

NOTE: it was NOT listed in the stores inventory and the sales guy had to go and dig around to see what they had.

Seriously frustrating that i even bothered with preorders and i've just managed to walk in and get it.

That is my exact problem with this launch. I now that Apples goal is to sell products but this is getting ridiculus. I live pretty far from the next Apple store here in Switzerland so I am sticking with my preorder. But this stinks. I would love to see them prioritizing online preorders a bit more. And I know that they probably do everything they can but it still feels a like a little f*** you from Apple.

Yep seems something went wrong somewhere in the logistics. There have been other launches where the stores had no stock for weeks while the pre-orderers received them right on schedule - there pre-orders make sense. This is putting pre-orderers at a disadvantage.

I think it only applies to online orders in any case.

I was there two days ago and they had quite a few models in stock. But all 16GB had sold out (3pm). Get there as early as you can! (I'm heading there later today myself, but not to see if they have my model - I need a US layout and my machine arrives tomorrow/Monday anyway).

Something must be wrong. Still at step 1...

Thanks, maybe we'll bump into each other. ;-)

If they have mine in stock, I think I'll just go ahead and get it. One thing I'm wondering though is what happens with my AppleCare plan that I bought along with my pre-order? Do I get a refund for that, too, if I have the shipped one sent back? Anyone know?
