Ah I actualy thought there was no other difference besides the 512gb instead of 256gb in those two 13"
Yes you're right. There is no difference other than the SSD. That's why you can't upgrade the SSD in the base model.

If you call them up, you will probably find that they do have the 13/3.3/16/512 in stock as well. I got one from Covent Garden yesterday. In a pickle here, Ordered the 13" TB 512gb with max ram and processor. Delivery window is 7-13 Dec. However apple stores in my city now have the best stock 13" available today. Should I ditch my BTO order?
Yes some people got them delivered in the first batch on Tuesday.Sorry to interrupt your time with your lovely machines but does anyone know if any 2.9GHz/2TB/460 configurations have been delivered in Europe (and especially the UK) yet?

Mine, too. Wondering something, though: since according to iStockNow, Berlin (where I live) has my 15" model in stock and today is the 150$(!) gift card Black Friday deal, would it not make more sense to buy one in store, then simply deny accepting the package when it arrives on Wednesday? That is the same as getting a refund, right?
Anyone ever do that before? Does that work as simply as it sounds? If so, it's off to the Apple Store, for me...
Note: I checked the Black Friday sales online and it seems it's just for last year's models. Eg. iPhone6s and MacBook Pro 2015.
pretty livid about this whole thing, originally ordered with delivery of 3 - 9th December. No movement.
Coincidentally went into my local apple store (Brighton, UK). they had my EXACT configuration in stock, 13" 512gb and 16gb ram.
NOTE: it was NOT listed in the stores inventory and the sales guy had to go and dig around to see what they had.
Seriously frustrating that i even bothered with preorders and i've just managed to walk in and get it.

It takes a few days to get an update...Something must be wrong. Still at step 1...

I think it only applies to online orders in any case.
I was there two days ago and they had quite a few models in stock. But all 16GB had sold out (3pm). Get there as early as you can! (I'm heading there later today myself, but not to see if they have my model - I need a US layout and my machine arrives tomorrow/Monday anyway).
