After cursing Apple for the price hike, I walked into a store today in Eindhoven and picked up a 2016 MBP 15. It's a beautiful machine! But I still think it's too expensive and slimy of Apple to increase the prices so much after such a long wait, dongle/adapter investment needed, yada-yada. I haven't upgraded my laptop since 2012 and was seriously thinking about switching to a pc laptop to run Linux (or get the Dell XPS for Developers which has Ubuntu with necessary drivers ready to go) because of the price increase, but even though there are some cool pc laptops after using MBPs so long it's really not easy to switch.

I got the 2.7GHz/512GB SSD model. Ideally I would have upgraded the GPU but that is not an option now in the store. In case anyone in/near NL is desperate and can't stand the shipping wait,
Media Markt Eindhoven Ekkersrijt just got six of these babies (minus the one I'm writing on now). I didn't see which other models they got...

Mine arrived today, despite my worries. I'm so happy with it so far, everything is looking so crisp and bright and shiny. I'm getting used to typing on this new keyboard, it's definitely different from the keyboard on my old MBP early 2011. Good luck with your deliveries, and thanks for all the useful information provided in this thread, it was a gold mine!

Just changed to "Preparing handover to final carrier". Ordered on Nov 3, original estimate 9 to 15 Dec. DHL still on Shipment information received since 28th, current delivery estimate 5 Dec. 13" BTO. I am in London.

My Macbook was shipped on the 28th at 8 PM. Since then I've seen absolutely no movement. Nothing on the Apple homepage except on Tuesday the big number above the order information changed to Shipped on the 29th while the small one if you click on details stayed 28th. The estimated delivery is on Monday.

Anyone else?

Is Monday still reslistic?

Call Apple Store Support, the German number is 0800 2000 136
They were able to track my Macbook when I told them my order number (the one starting with W)

It's still in China. Appearantly it missed the Tuesday flight but he was still positive that it'll be delivered by Monday. I guess in logistics they're working the weekend through

okay guys... I have been travelling since nov 19, came back to my brand new, lovely mbp 2016, 15" today. In that time 162 pages have been added to the fred  Please be kind to me and don't make me read all those pages... I have a question :D
I ordered the mbp 15" with the upgraded graphics Radeon Pro 460 with 4gb
Looking into the Systems overview it says Intel HD Graphics 530 1536 MB

Is that better, worse or the same?

Edit: Ahhh, just looked deeper into the systems info and found two graphics cards: the aforementioned Intel 530 AND the Raeon Pro 460

Must be the jet-lag :p

This is a Sierra-bug as far as I know.
The Intel HD Graphics is the integrated graphics from your Intel i7 processor.

Open System Information (just write it in spotlight), go to Graphics/Displays, you supposed to see two graphic cards there.

You will always see this card if you use two graphic cards and Automatic Graphics Switching enabled.
You can disable it in System Preferences.

Warning: If you disable Automatic Graphics Switching, battery life will decrease.
