With the supstitution of Cambridge for London, this is me. It's now gone from 'In Transit' to 'Shipment dispatched' at least twice, but no further progress. I still reckon there's a chance it'll beat the 7th though [based on the assumption that it has actually left Shanghai already]. Ah well...
Yeah, Apple told me DHL tracking will update once the order is on UK mainland (London Heathrow that is), means our orders most probably are sitting in a warehouse somewhere waiting to be picked up.

Quick question: Are Saturday deliveries still a thing with Apple? I highly doubt it as they have opted for the cheaper economy express service but still.

Still no tracking at DHL, Apple-site says everything is okay, delivery will be today, but I just received an email from Apple which tells me there is a delay of 24 hours (containing a link to the status-page which tells me, everything is okay)

I called Apple and they told me (after talking to DHL again) that the plane could not start (on monday!) because of an "meteorologic disturbance" and that's why everything is delayed for 24 hours. I think, that's a lot of ******** and my MacBook is stucked somewhere between Eindhoven und Bremen but they have no ****ing clue where exactly. Very frustrating.

Hey guys, finally I got my new 13" with TB. It is just a dream. Really nice Mac!!!

Here's my order timeline in case it helps someone else:

11-04: Ordered a 13" tbMBP 16GB, estimated delivery between 12-09 and 12-15
11-28: Sent notification on Apple.com, with a DHL Express number and delivery on 12-02
11-29: Order visible on DHL site with status "Shipment information received"
12-01: Processed notice on DHL site, Apple.com's delivery date went from 12-02 to 11-29
12-02: Bunch of sorting notices and now it's with the delivery courier

Excited!
Delivered!

You also had "Apple Delivery Date" on 2nd Dec? Because my Apple Date says 2nd, too. But my DHL Status is freezed sind Wednesday. Also the DHL truck was already driving around here... :(

Just got a text update from DHL: delivery on monday 5. Apple still says delivery is on the 7, and the DHL tracker still shows no update apart from the first "shipment info received"... but at least it looks like something is moving.

That's hopeful - I think our shipments got to AMS this morning. Presumably being unpacked from the pallets and scanned into the system at the moment...

Lucky you :D congrats! Still disappointed with Apple for my part. Send out on the same date and now it just sits in Arnhem for no apparent reason...
That's too bad.. probably another long weekend.

Not all great here though. First thing I see when I open it up: silver top case is chipped/dented, just below the screen. So I already know it's going back in the next few weeks...

just got updated, went from 1.Shipment info received to 1. Shipment picked up and 2. Processed at AMSTERDAM

Estimated Delivery:Monday, December 05, 2016

Apple says 5th too now, it was 6th before ;)

What do they do if you are not at home when they come ?

Just to update those ordering through resellers (especially in the UK) - it seems there are delivery issues.

I ordered a 15" TB MBP 2.9Ghz / 1TB / 460 at 9am on October 28th from a reseller in Jersey (in the Channel Islands). I was told to expect late November / early December delivery dates which I thought was fair enough, but just had a call from them to say that their supplier is having issues and that I should expect delivery in mid January now! To say I'm frustrated is an understatement!

Not sure if this issue is specific to my reseller (hopefully it is) but have seen questions from those ordering through resellers and not much in the way of answers so thought it might be of use. The lack of visibility (e.g. no tracking numbers and whatnot) is killing me!

Good luck all.

Tom

I think, in switzerland it's the same. But it's funny, Apple premium resellers seems to have this delay. Normal resellers talk about availability next week.

Worst, there is no communication from the reseller. This would be the first and the last time i've buyed a device from this reseller.

So i think about cancel the order at the reseller and by it in a store.

Thanks for this update about Resellers. My reseller is in Ireland and talks about their interaction with a distributor? (Nov 1st order, still not even shipped). Anyone know why the Reseller would have a distributor?. I'm also tempted to cancel my order.

Just to clarify, I'm talking about an Apple Premium Reseller - but yeah totally agree with you. Extremely frustrating. To be fair I've ordered things from this reseller in the past as soon as they've been released and have typically received stuff only a few days to a week later than the mainland UK, but this sounds like it's going to be way off.

With regards to distributors, my understanding is that all Apple Resellers (including APR / Apple Premium Resellers) buy from one of a few distributors in the UK / Europe (this is what my reseller told me over the phone anyway), so it seems there is some sort of bottleneck, I assume Apple prioritising delivery of custom machines to their direct customers (which I would be if they sold to Jersey residents!).

Frustratingly, because my machine is a customer order I'm not able to get a refund / my deposit back so can't even cancel my order and buy elsewhere ;(

Thanks for this clarification about Apple Premium Resellers and the role of distributors. Not a great position for these resellers to be in, given that it seems Apple are prioritising direct customers.
