Hi all, so from glancing it looks like once its shipped from apple we can't track on DHL's website until it's in Europe? I'm ordering to the UK with dispatch email yesterday, anyone know if i could receive it before apple's 12th Dec estimate or is that about right?
In my case I received the tracking number and I was able to track it in DHL since I received the shipped email from Apple.

You are from Germany, too? Which State?

Hope it will show a update very soon. I don't think it is still in Shanghai, so it has to be in Amsterdam at least.
I can't stay at home the whole day just waiting for the DHL deliveryman, because there are no tracking information... :(
Berlin. What about you?

Status Update.
From Köln, DE yesterday, it wen to Llobreg, ES (I assume is El Prat, BCN) at 4:48 AM.
And arrived Manises (Valencia) at 6.
It will arrive on time I think :))))))

Not sure, mine is terminated to Tuesday, but it would be strange if it doesnt arrive tomorrow.. its sitting for 3 days in Holland now. We will see :)

I let it deliver to my work place in the city, true, else I would get it later as well ;)
Yeah let's hope so! ;) ah that is nice! My neighbor is so kind and will accept it for me :D

For anybody who is interested in Apples built to order times...
Just installed coconutbattery to see status of my battery and the date it/the MBP was built and found out following:

  • 27.10.2016 - ordered
  • 12.11.2016 - reservation placed on credit card
  • 14.11.2016 - production (they show the beginning of production week)
    • 30.10.2016 - production of battery
  • 17.11.2016 - shipped message from Apple
  • 18.11.2016 - MBP received by TNT in Shanghai
  • 21.11.2016 - arrival in Arnhem
  • 22.11.2016 - arrival in Oslo/Norway
  • 23.11.2016 - Pick-up at local postoffice

Cheers!

btw... My battery life is gorgeous (for my usage) and charging is incredibly fast. :)

Hi All, does anyone have any further information about deliveries from Apple premium resellers? Seems like these are experiencing serious delays. Apparently no movement at all on my order placed on Nov 1st.

My order has been shipped (to Germany) on 30th November. The Apple-Tracking says "shipment dispatched" since 2nd December, but there is still no update on DHL-Tracking. I think i wont get my MacBook on the estimated delivery date (6th december). :'-(

Is this usual?
Same here. My order was shipped on 30th November and on 2nd December Apple status change to "Shipment dispatched". Since this day no movements in tracking. (To Spain). Apple say: "Estimated deliver date: 12th Dec". I hope have it this weeks, but in Spain we have holidays tomorrow and Thursday.

Exactly the same for me. Shipped on 30th November. Dispatched on 2nd on apple website. No news since. Nothing is moving since 30th on dhl website. Destination France

I'm not but I'm living in spain. It is a mistery why I got UPS and not DHL, also sent to Italy in place of AMS.
Are you picking up the computer or it's been sent to you?

I also have UPS because I will pickup mine in a place called punto Kiala here in Barcelona. I pickup all my Amazon orders in there too.

My estimate from Apple is the 7th, but UPS says that there's no information available... The laptop is now on Koeln, Germany but tomorrow is a bank holiday in Spain so the 7th seems to be the day to me

Nothing yet :(
I placed my order on 4th November for a stock 13tbMBP and still waiting.

Mine has been "preparing handover to final carrier" for three whole days now. Is that normal? Do they really not work on weekends?

Just gave DHL Express a call. They said "It seems that Apple only created the label for the package but 'forgot' to book a pick up by DHL". This implies, that our packages are on Amsterdam airport without movement at time. DHL Express said, I should give Apple a call, but I can't get them on phone at time... -.-

Not sure you gonna have it this week. Mine was dispatched on 28th, estimated delivery December 7. Current status is " Delivery on time". Today it's 5 and I don't even have tracking number or carrier company. Weird.

Spain aswell.

Looks like delivery to Europe now more organized then to US.

3/12 - Apple Status: PFS.
3/12 - Apple Status: Moved to Shipped by EOD.
4/12 - Picked up and delivered to Airport by DHL in China. - Apple Status: In Transit to Customer- Shipment on Schedule
5/12 - Left China with China Cargo (CK205) - CK205 Cargo leaving China every day at 9:30am and getting to Amsterdam around 16:00. - Apple Status: Shipment dispatched.

Another interesting issue. If you getting into the weekend and your DHL tracking number is not working (showing error) wait till Monday, it will start working by midday.

FYI @jonyiveswhiteroom maybe this info can me useful for your guide. thanks btw. :)

Something that can also be added to guide, from my experience:
1. Factory working 24/7.
2. Factory logistic working 24/7.
3. DHL and Customs in China working 24/7.

So there are no delays for dispatch from China.

For all of those who live in Spain and their order is going to be sent to Spain, the o my day that UPS will be on "holidays" will be the 8th, I think this applies to other delivery companies too.

That's pretty ominous - the stock models are available in many Apple stores, so this makes no sense. Mine was a BTO
The resellers order from a distributor (licensed by apple for the country). The distributor supply a lot of resellers and therefore orders a huge amount of units at once. Probably this is the problem. It sucks that we cannot order from Apple directly. And to make things worse - we have no way of knowing what is the status of our order :(

So this means that the date we place an order with the reseller doesn't mean very much, if the distributor sits on that order for a while before bundling it up with other orders. I received an odd email from my reseller two weeks after I placed my order indicating a 4-6 week lead time. They denied that the order had been delayed but I'm getting the impression that it was very much delayed. Probably it took tow weeks before the distributor placed their order with Apple. I won't use a reseller again - they are two steps removed from Apple.
