I'm just hoping the machine will be faultless. No graphic issues, no scratches. Then I can pretend this nightmare of waiting for announcement and release never happened and actually get on with some work again. This latest delay has really left a sour taste in the mouth.
I don't understand the origin of your problem, is it with Apple or the delivery company?Just had a rather fruitless web chat regarding my delay. It turns out web chat operatives can do nothing regarding Expedited Shipping. I complained quite a lot and didn't get any more information. Way to go apple, the wait for release and the order has been a nightmare and the machine hasn't even arrived.
You are a very lucky customer. It looks like you'll receive your machine before me, in spite of ordering two weeks later. I'm very jealous.

Nothing to do with you, as it's not your fault, but he ordered November 7th and his is still processing, while you ordered November 26th and are in P4S. It's just a bit frustrating for him having waited almost 3 weeks longer and no movement. I ordered November 20th. I'm still waiting and I'm frustrated as well; I can't imagine how he's really feeling. I don't get what's happening.
Then you should give a call to Apple, cause that's really strange, has your CC seen any reservation from Apple? I can't see the logic behind this...Nothing to do with you, as it's not your fault, but he ordered November 7th and his is still processing, while you ordered November 26th and are in P4S. Yes, reservation on Saturday. Then you should give a call to Apple, cause that's really strange, has your CC seen any reservation from Apple? I can't see the logic behind this...
I completely agree with you, give them a call. If you have the same I problem I did when it came to calling the order support staff, that was were a machine would say that you should try and call later, if this happens, call another department and see if they can redirect you directly to an apple specialist instead of the machine on the Order and Delivery department. It's Apple. I'm still in 'Processing'. And for the record, I'm not angry with any users who get their machines earlier. It's Apple's poor customer service that has annoyed me.
This is an example of a time when Apple should really be providing customers with more information. If they said 'We have problems with the 460s and are trying to fix it' or 'the 2TB drives are taking longer to obtain', I'd be fine. It's just silence until my delivery window starts then a delay. They should have been able to tell me there was a problem earlier.
Maybe you'll see movements this week, the fact that you are in the UK may kind of affect you, but I'm not so sure about that. I think it's what a user said earlier, that they are trying to solve some problems with the hardware and that's why some deliveries are being holder back, however if this is the reason behind the delay, I'm scared mine will come with flaws and errors.Yes, reservation on Saturday.

Any news from you? While DHL ist STILL stuck at "Shipment information received", Apples status just went to "Preparing handover to final carrier". So probs on a plane tonight to Leipzig.
Pfff, the delivery of my replacement has just been delayed
It had a window of 16-20th and now has been pushed to 22-27th
Common Apple?! You promised me you would be delivering a replacement macbook without delay....
Mine has just been reduced by a day from 22 December-4 Jan to 21 December-3 Jan.
Last wednesdayI had to start a replacement procedure for mine because of a defect. The courier will pick up my defective MBP tomorrow. In the meantime, I see a replacement order in my account, with an estimated delivery date of Jan 4 - Jan 11.
This is taking forever! Aren't replacement units prioritized somehow?
On what date did you initiate the replacement procedure?

Out of curiosity, how many times a day do you guys refresh your order status page?
I refresh several times an hour. 5-10 times for 10+ hours. Easily 50-100+ times a day.
My BTO 13" ordered on November 7th is out for delivery today. Longest wait of my life is finally coming to an end!
