I think my Tracking number is wrong, I've been on the phone both withDHL, and they say they that that number does not exist

Mine ships to store, however, I've been able to get some info by doing a track by shippers reference on DHL's website and using the "Delivery Note" number on the invoice that you can access on Apple's website. You could try that.
 
What's the delivery note number invoice?

In my case, I can already see my invoice in the Orders page in my Apple account. On that invoice you will have the Order Details, then the Payment Methods and then the "Additional Information" section. Over there, I've got something like:

Additional Information

Terms Delivery Note/Date Due Date
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Carriage, Insurance Paid To XXXXXXXXXX/14 December 201

By entering the number on xxxxxxxxx I managed to get some DHL info. That also seems to give you the correct tracking number you need on DHL's site.
 
searching with the reference number didn't work for me. My DHL ID from Apple also doesn't show anything since 24+ hours.
 
But DHL would have told me the same I guess. My tracking ID is unknown with the same text shown like when I search the tracking ID "123abc"
Ok guys I talked with Apple, the guy was very nice and he helped me out a lot, so he told me that, the tracking number given to some of us starting by 9655, is in reality the ID of the "container" that holds many orders from different people, that's why it doesn't work on the DHL website. He told me that right now, my order is at Amsterdam, but, as there many orders to be organised I'll probably only see movement either tomorrow or on the weekend.
Luckily it hasn't been lost and I will get it.

Now out with Courier! I am supposed to get mine tomorrow! Perfect timing I have all weekend to get it up and running properly! AND 6 full days earlier than my original window! Hope it actually happens!

Apple's website -> Orders -> Scroll down to the Macbook -> Click on "Track shipment" (the first thing below the "Shipped" text) There you should see the carrier and the tracking number.

it only says "in transit to customer".
 
There goes my theory thinking England is behind. I'm also in the UK, ordered 20th Nov and still processing.

Me too I'm in the UK, ordered a week later though (27th November) and still processing.
Ordered 15inch, 2.9, 512gb, 460. Estimated shipping 22nd Dec - 4th Jan, starting to think it'll most likely be after Christmas :(
