MacBook Pro Light Question !!!!!!

The little light on the button you click to get the screen to flip up, whenever i close my MBP screen (i rarely shut down my MBP), that little light dims and gets brighter, my question is does that light ever burn out and how long before it does ?

It's asleep then... It's simulating 'breathing'... So it does not go out 🙂

Lol, I have to admit the novelty wore off when I tried sleeping, to no avail, with that infernal light pulsating.
