MacBook Pro looses Magic Mouse association after every boot

Hi, my MBP with SL 10.6.2 keeps loosing the bluetooth association with my Magic Mouse after a reboot. As a result, MagicPrefs does not work either. Only way to get working is to delete "com.apple.Bluetooth.plist" from the Library folder and restart. It's very annoying. Is anyone else experiencing this problem.

Yeah sorry forgot to say. I've tried repairing permissions but it hasn't helped.

Just read a recent thread about this same issue. The OP fixed it by doing an SMC reset: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3964

Unfortunately that hasn't worked either. I still have to delete the .plist file and then reboot again. FWIW. This doesn't happen with my Microsoft Bluetooth mouse. Only the Magic Mouse has problems.

10.6.2 should have the Wireless Mouse Software Update bundled in, but it's worth a shot to try running the installation again to see if it may ultimately resolve your issue.

Thanks for the tip but I've also tried that option as well.
