MacBook Pro looses Magic Mouse association after every boot

Hi, my MBP with SL 10.6.2 keeps loosing the bluetooth association with my Magic Mouse after a reboot. As a result, MagicPrefs does not work either. Only way to get working is to delete "com.apple.Bluetooth.plist" from the Library folder and restart. It's very annoying. Is anyone else experiencing this problem. 😕

Yeah sorry forgot to say. I've tried repairing permissions but it hasn't helped.🙁

Just read a recent thread about this same issue. The OP fixed it by doing an SMC reset: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3964

Unfortunately that hasn't worked either. I still have to delete the .plist file and then reboot again. 🙁 FWIW. This doesn't happen with my Microsoft Bluetooth mouse. Only the Magic Mouse has problems.

10.6.2 should have the Wireless Mouse Software Update bundled in, but it's worth a shot to try running the installation again to see if it may ultimately resolve your issue.

Thanks for the tip but I've also tried that option as well. 😕
