Macbook Pro M1 Amazon / Best Buy / Costco ordering thread

Thought I would start a dedicated thread for those who are ordering from one of the three (Amazon, Best Buy and Costco).

We ordered a Max/32/32GB/1TB from both Amazon and Best Buy last week. At order time Best Buy quoted arrives by Oct 29 but now no date is given - just pre-order. No date from Amazon other than releases tomorrow, the 26th.

If anyone sees movement, please let us know!

I did the pre-order from Best Buy for the same computer Max/32/32GB/1TB and also had the Oct 29th date. Now my order says Nov 16th(no communication on this date change at all). Very disappointed but I'm expecting the worse as far as delivery dates with the supply chain issues and Apple most likely prioritizing direct orders over 3rd parties' inventory. I'm hoping it gets better and that there's some updates this week since tomorrow is the official release because there's been zero movement on my order since I placed it on Oct 19th when BestBuy started preorders. Interestingly, the preorder dates still show a delivery of Oct 29 on the Pro/16GB/1TB in both CPU configs when I looked at the product pages for those configs this morning on BestBuy.
 
I have one coming from Costco and it still just says shipping the week of Nov 1. I'm getting it shipped to store, don't know how/if that affects anything.

Would like to get some idea of when they'll start moving.
 
Just got off with Best Buy chat - said they expect to ship order tomorrow to arrive on or before Friday the 29th.

amazon still no dates, pre-ordered october 22. Should I change to bestbuy?

my best buy in store pickup says it will be ready for pickup today but it's still not quite ready..... store just opened. i'm assuming they are expecting the shipment to come in today.

I had ordered stock 16” max from Best Buy Saturday night. Had expected ship by nov 16. earlier this morning I checked and it let me update to store pickup today. seem like stores got some in stock for launch day. Currently says preparing. Stores have been open for an hour and a half now, hoping it does come through today. Would be dope to have on launch day.

I feel like there won't be a change until Nov 1 at the earliest. I wonder where they are sitting right now. Did you do ship to store or home?

The area ones around me all were getting 2 base model 14’s in; supposedly one to sell and one for display. I don’t think they planned to sell them until tomorrow as they got them on today’s truck, but I lucked out with a couple nice employees who dug them out for me
