Can I use a MacBook PSU for my MacBook Pro and vice versa? I know one is 65 watts and the other is 85.

Thanks

I can provide no confirmation however the Powerbooks 65 Watt adapter was interchangeable with the 45 Watt iBook one so my bet is yes.

No if you used a iBook charger on a PB it would charge very slowly.

Well my understanding is that you can do this but it will charge your MBP a lot slower than it would normally (same as the way the iBook chargers charge PowerBooks incredibly slowly. It still might be worth it for the smaller size if you don't need the battery that much. Then again if you need it portable you probably need the battery 🙂

I wouldn't recommend it. I have no idea if it would cause any damage but using an ibook charger on my PowerBook never seemed to do any harm.

Ok I just spoke to Apple Care and you can use a MBP PSU on a MB but not vice versa.
