W whitefang macrumors 6502 Original poster Mar 3, 2009 #1 Just bought a macbook pro 15.4" model. What is the maximum amount of RAM I can put? On the website, it says max is 4gig which seems ridiculous considering the fact that it's a penryn based chipset and standard is becoming 6gig-8gig.

Consultant macrumors G5 Mar 3, 2009 #2 If you can't search, Everymac.com for more details on max ram (sometimes beyond apple specs).
