Hello everyone,

It is my first time on this forum so I am very sorry if this question has already been asked. I looked through many pages on google and here and couldn't find an answer.
So here's my problem:
I had my Mac repaired (the hard drive has been changed yesterday morning) and everything seemed to work perfectly until i turned on my computer again yesterday evening. All the menu display (and "right click" menu) only shows the letter A like in the picture below :

(besides my dock doesn't seem to be working either but it's not a big problem for now - I'm just mentioning it in case it's linked)

Does any of you know how to fix that in a simple way ?

Many many thanks,

Awatif 🙂

Hello,

resetting all font caches files might solve the problem.

To do this, restart in safe mode : http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201262

In French : http://support.apple.com/fr-fr/HT1564

Hello and thanks for your answer!
I did what you advised but it doesn't seem to be working.
This is what I did to reset the font cache :
http://www.glyphsapp.com/tutorials/eliminating-font-cache-problems

When I restarted in safe mode it changed all the characters into this "A" glyph, even the folders title etc...
