Macbook Pro mid 2009 overclocking

Just got my machine the other day, so this is just initial findings.

Stable overclock 2.66@3.00ghz and 9600m at 700/1600/1200:core/shader/mem nets a 3dmark06 score of 8200 under win7:

I think it might work from windows to overclock. I heard before of people overclocking their video cards in windows on an MBP.

One thing I never grasped on these forums: why do people who know nothing of overclocking even bother posting?

At any rate, the OC worked fine for the period I owned it - now on a i5

why would you want to overclock it? It will fry the logic board CPU and GPU because the MacBook's body doesn't provide enough ventilation.
