Just installed steam on my mac to be able to play CS:GO on a LAN, however I'm getting an average 13 FPS....

What is up with this? I'm seeing this youtube movies where people can play CS:GO without any issues on a Mac with the intel HD 4000.

My Macs specs:
13" MBP Mid 2012
i5 2,5 ghz
4 GB RAM
Intel HD 4000 with 1024 MB

Edit: I've got windows on running on this Mac, don't know if that does anything....

I owned basically those specs in a 2012 Mac Mini - with HD 4000 and had no issues at all playing CS GO on OS X.

This was under Mavericks. Something is definitely wrong here, maybe the MacBook is thermal throttling? I doubt it though.

What resolution are you playing at? Settings? What OS?
