Okay having multiple problems with my Early 2008 Macbook Pro that just popped up this morning. I had a motherboard + LCD replacement just last month, and upgraded to a Momentus XT HDD shortly after.

Today I woke my computer up from sleep (it was in Windows), and I realized the sound kept turning on and off intermittently. It'd be on for about 3 seconds, shut off for 2 seconds, then come on again for another 3 seconds, shut off another 2 seconds, etc.

I rebooted it once to see if it'd go away, but the sound problem persisted. I tried to reboot into OS X but my computer hung before it managed to boot off Windows.

Upon booting into OS X, the computer hung before it finished loading OS X. I restarted it again. This time it booted up but it didn't seem to load some drivers, and I was unable to use the Keyboard Shortcuts (F1 - F12). My touchpad also failed to respond to gestures.

Fearing it might be a HDD related problem, I booted up through my old HDD. However it failed to boot up into OS X and got stuck at the blue screen that appears momentary just as OS X is booting up.

I'm giving my computer a rest now. I was wondering if anyone has any clue on what might be wrong. Thanks.
