I just realized the new Retina MBP doesn't say "MacBook Pro" at the bottom of the screen anymore. I wonder why they decided to remove it? I kinda like it. :confused:

Yeah, I noticed the name on the bottom from the Keynote video. Ok, makes sense.

Looks just as thin as the pre-unibody MacBook Pros though.

Nope. I think you're right. They are unifying all of the products with the name on the rear/back now.
