Hello everyone! I'm receiving an entourage error -4960. But whenever this issue occurs, I can't cut/paste anywhere else, text edit, etc. Tried creating a new account, same problems, have almost 50% of my hard drive with space available and I've run the disk util stuff minus the "zeroize" free space... What now???

Cutting and pasting on my console leaves a "console [165] Core DrageCreate error:-4960"

I am running OS X 10.5.7 with a Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4 Ghz 2gb ram. Is there anything else? I fixed it by freeing up some space.... but now I have plenty 60gb... It's driving me nuts! Thanks in advance..

Can you reinstall the os? (first backup, then reinstall from scratch).

I'm trying to manually fix the problem. Is this my only solution, after several hours of googling it seems there are a few people who have this problem. When you say "back up" is there any way to boot camp a partition and then move stuff over? My Tb hard drive just ate the dust along with this problem so I'm trying to avoid losing all of my data. Thanks again!
