How much is a Core Duo 2Ghz, 1GB Ram, 80GB HardDrive Macbook Pro worth. It has some scratches on it, but otherwise it's fine and it comes with a black case.

They want £580 for it.
Worth it?. Thanks.

That's a pretty good deal, I got the same machine (except 2GB ram vs 1) with Applecare for 1300 in August.

It'd be replacing my Macbook which is Core 2 Duo 1.83Ghz, 2GB Ram, 120GB HardDrive.

I'm not sure if i want to go from Core 2 Duo to Core Duo and 2GB Ram to 1GB Ram and 120GB HDD to 80GB HDD.

Ugh.... its still a good price for the laptop though,,,, I'm just not sure.

I don't know what your doing with Macbook but you can put the Ram into the macbook pro. And with a little surgery its not to hard to upgrade the hard drive in a macbook pro.

I wouldn't think twice about it--it would be an absolute no for me. Going backwards in processor, memory, and drive-space? What for?

I would never replace that Macbook with that Macbook Pro.
